MOVEABLE ALPHABET (208 Pieces)
Our moveable alphabet is a great way to promote and support emergent literacy skills with your child. In collaboration with LakeHouse Carvings, this learning resource is a great addition to your child's play and literacy learning.
Moveable alphabets offer several benefits. Having the letters already forms removes the handwriting berrier allowing children to focus more on word formation, letter patterns, letter sounds and emergent reading and writing strategies. Being able to experiement with letters and words in this way builds confidence.
Our moveable alphabet is designed and locally produced in Ontario. It comes in a handcrafted wooden box and contains 208 letters, 8 copies of each. The vowels are painted red to make them easily identifable. The box lid doubles as a play surface complete with lines to facilitate letter placement and spacing. It is made entirely of Baltic birch.
Our moveable alphabet is made-to-order and currently has a turn around time of 10 to 14 days.
